MIRAGE
I loved you, barren desert spring
I loved you
Nuclear wasted salt
Between my toes
I loved you
Death Valley with no shepard lord
I loved you
Hungry gloom!

I loved palm trees in your eyes, fountain
too far.

You asked for lilies in the valley from my garden,
They could bring healing to your heart,
or if we didn't care:
Poison!
I brought them to you.

But they were withering when I came,
You threw them to the ground and wouldn't let me fetch you
New and fresh ones.

But my desire to catch your smile again
Haunted through your mind
When I was gone
When I was gone.
